IMPORTANT: To ensure that the correct size driver is used, the total wattage of the 24v light fittings needs to be calculated. This can be done easily by multiplying the lamp wattages for each fitting type. Add these totals together to determine which size constant voltage LED driver you need. It is important not to overload the 24v DC transformer. It is recommended that some spare wattage capacity is left, in case additional lights are required. In addition, it is equally important not to use too few lights or have too low wattages on a 24v lighting system as this may cause ‘overvoltage’.
