Step lights are both decorative and functional. Steps should be adequately lit for safe access during nighttime. In addition, low level step lighting is a great way to add a calm ambience to a garden space.

Recessed (in-ground) lighting provides more freedom, in terms of light direction and output brightness. Alternatively, surface mounted step lights are best suited to fitting lights to existing walls and steps. These usually only require fixing holes and a cable inlet to be installed.

Warm white LED lamps are recommended for decorative garden environments. Daylight white LED lamps are mimic daylight and are best suited for access lighting purposes.
