This 24v DC twin output LED driver is for use with 24v DConnect Garden Lights, particularly the Litecast and Lediflex ranges. A 3 pin UK plug is attached to 1.5m of fixed 3 core PVC waterproof input cable. As a result, no wiring is required. The 240v AC mains input then converts to 24v DC output via the 24v constant voltage LED driver.

Two outdoor lighting runs can now be connected to one 24v DC driver easily due to the twin output cable design. Each output cable has a ‘D’ Shape plug & play male 2 pin adaptor for easy installation. If 2 core open-end is required rather than plug & play, select the female adaptor from the drop down menu. Ideally the drivers / transformers should be installed above ground on a suitable post or wall via the easy to use surface mount clips.

In addition, DConnect Male to Female Extension Cables enable longer cable runs between the driver and the fitting and a more remote placing of the driver. They are available in 1m, 3m and 5m lengths and link together to create any length. Lumena recommend a maximum cable run of 15m to prevent voltage drop.

Additional extension cables can also be purchased.

To ensure that the correct size 24v constant voltage LED driver is used, the total wattage of lamps to be powered must be known. If multiple fittings are used, this is calculated easily by multiplying the lamp wattage with the number of fittings. Remember not to overload the transformer – maximum wattage is per driver, not per output cable. Example: a 30 watt driver will power lights with a total wattage of 30w.
