This 12v external photocell is one of the only ones available on the UK market. It acts as a night sensor, automatically turning your outdoor lights on at dusk and off again at dawn. Rated IP65, this waterproof photocell unit with clear dome diffuser and black wall bracket is ideal for mounting onto any flat surface such as an outdoor wall, fence or post.
Supplied complete with 1 x M20 cable gland for ease of installation. Alternatively, 20mm conduit can be attached to the base to create a full waterproof seal, with extra room for larger cables. A testing bag is also included to enable the photocell to be covered and tested during daytime.

The clear dome allows the electronics inside to be visible to the outside world – something many people find interesting and think adds to the effect. When located at the beginning of a circuit, it can control the entire 12v garden lighting system up to a total of 50W* (LED).
