The stylish appearance of the 316 Stainless Steel Bollard, Stelled makes it ideal for use in areas such as garden seating areas and driveways. They also provide ideal amenity lighting for larger, commercial or public areas. These include car parks, lakes, golf courses etc, which may need a high level of light. A special head design allows for a large 20W LED corn bulb with an incredibly high lumen output (brightness). This is ideal for use with most PIR and Photocell systems. Although smaller E27 LED Light Bulbs can be used, they will not create a full projection of light due to the large head size and positioning of the bulb holder.

Each stainless steel bollard is supplied complete with a removable internal mounting base as standard, which can mount onto any flat surface or use alongside the supplied root mount J-Bolts. Expanding anchor bolts are also available. Alternatively, a Professional Root Mounting System is available (see separate listing).

A clear, UV stop polycarbonate diffuser surrounds the majority of the head (spares available). Silver aluminium internal louvres add character to the bollard as well as acting as anti-glare shields  / protecting the LED bulb. All external screws are allen (socket) type made from stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive product.

How far apart should bollards be ?

The distance between bollards will vary depending on what light output the bulbs have. Also, what sort of area is being lit and how much light is required. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards you may need for your project based on our bulb recommendations, providing a constant light between each fitting:

• •   20W LED Corn Bulb (DAYLIGHT WHITE)  –  6m to 8m apart

• •   20W LED Corn Bulb (WARM WHITE)  –  5m to 7m apart
