The Alerta is a very reliable, robust and user friendly PIR Motion Sensor Solar Wall Light, perfect for UK weather. The PIR has an impressive cross detection range of up to 8m. As well as the extremely bright LEDs (2000lm), a unique feature of this versatile solar security light is the angled solar panel and tri-directional LEDs. Encased in durable ABS and polycarbonate, this PIR solar light is therefore ideal for coastal locations with anti-corrosive properties.

The very high, 2000 lumen output LED chips are concealed in a UV protected, heavy duty polycarbonate casing. They also have an expected life of up to 50,000 hours. The LED chips wrap around the fitting producing tri-directional illumination for optimum coverage. This IP64 solar wall light is perfect for illuminating walkways, entrances, seating areas or above house number plates, adding security to any home or premises. It provides low level light until movement is detected when it then illuminates fully, or low level constant illumination – a great deterrent for criminal activity. It also costs nothing to run.

Mounting

Mount the Alerta to any flat surface via dual fixing holes at the top corners of the fittings (adjustable). A mounting template is provided for ease of install. For best results, mount at 1.8m-2.5m high, avoiding obstructions to the solar panel and other light sources.

Charging & Performance

The PIR sensor has a cross directional detection range of up to 8m with a 120 degree angle. There are two different lighting modes: constant on and PIR mode (see below). PIR mode retains the battery charge for the longest period, providing bright light only when required. The lithium batteries will fully charge with 8-10 hours of full sunshine via the angled, polycrystalline silicon solar panel. From full charge, this reliable solar light will illuminate for multiple nights in PIR mode with up to 180 triggers per night. Alternatively, in low level, constant on mode, the Alerta will illuminate for 8-10 hours.

Lighting Modes

• MODE 1: Constant on (low level) – Press Once A constant, low level light, rated at 150lm for dusk to dawn illumination.
• MODE 2: PIR Motion Sensor (high brightness) – Press Twice Light remains off until motion is detected within range. When triggered, light will remain on at full brightness for approximately 20 seconds after motion is detected; then return to off.
• POWER OFF – Press Thrice
