Both the aged silver faceplate and the robust backbox are solid brass. The fact that the bricklight is solid brass means that it is extra durable and weatherproof. Usually bricklights are stainless or aluminium but this is a high quality light built to last for years in brass aged silver.
The size and shape, as the name suggests, replaces a standard brick as a recessed light. The 240v backbox has been engineered with ease of installation in mind. 5 secure cable outlets on the backbox ensure versatility with wiring. Add one M20 cable gland with each 240v brick light to allow for a simple installation. Once installed, the brick light instantly adds charm and character to dull exterior walls.
The frosted glass lens has a softening effect, dispersing light evenly without glare. A highly polished internal reflector maximises light output from the two G9 bulbs. Lumena recommends the use of their high output G9 LED capsule bulbs, available in warm white or cool white.
