Create a feature from bare brick walls with the Charleston Aged Silver Louvred Brick Light 12v. Aged silver is a modern finish, designed to complement a wide range of outdoor facing bricks. Both the aged silver faceplate and the robust backbox are solid brass. The faceplate features 3 durable louvres designed to disperse all light downwards, without glare. As well as improved light emission, the solid brass louvres act as a shield against damage to the internal components.
The size and shape, as the name suggests, replaces a standard brick as a recessed light. The low voltage backbox has been engineered with ease of installation in mind. 5 secure cable outlets on the backbox ensure versatility with wiring. Add one M20 cable gland with each 12v brick light to allow for a simple installation. Once installed, the brick light instantly adds charm and character to dull exterior walls.
Being a 12v low voltage brick light, it is suited to particularly damp environments. Condensation may occur with any outdoor light. If this water drips on the bulb holder or connection cables, low voltage circuits will continue to function without issues. In addition, 12v systems are much safer to install and maintain than 240v mains supply. If someone was to come into contact with a 12v low voltage system, a small shock may be felt, but nowhere near enough to cause serious harm.
A highly polished internal reflector maximises light output from the two G4 bulbs. Lumena recommends the use of their high output G4 LED capsule bulbs, available in warm white or cool white.

Lumena’s Versa plug & play system is compatible with a number of brands such as Techmar. Cables are available in various length in various combinations of plug & play and open end. In addition, 3 way and 6 way connectors make it very simple for connecting components and fittings to just one transformer.
12v lightings requires a transformer in order for these to be powered. A transformer converts 240v mains down to 12v low voltage. We stock various wattage transformers (10w, 20w, 50w and 100w). Calculate which size transformer is required for a circuit following this simple formula:
Lamp Wattage x Lamp Quantity = Total Wattage Required (minimum)
Example: 5W MR16 x 3 fittings = 15WÂ Â (20W transformer required)
You must never exceed the wattage of a transformer, and avoid underloading. The ideal capacity is 75-90% load.
12v Lighting Set-up Example
