Extension Cable – 4m Length  (SOLAR)

This 4m extension cable is for use with the Heliosol Solar Floodlights and Solspike solar spikelights. Increase the total distance between the floodlight and adjustable solar panel by 4m with this additional plug & play extension cable. Simply plug in to both the solar panel and the light fitting to extend the cable. The male and female adaptors simply push into the existing cable plugs and are secured in place with a screw cap for a watertight connection.

By increasing the distance between light and solar panel this provides further versatility when it comes to solar panel positioning. As the solar panel needs to be placed in sunlight and not the shade, the it provides more flexibility for a south facing solar panel. Although the units will charge in any sunlight, south facing is best for quick charging. Trees and buildings often create a lot of shadows which is best avoided with the solar panel. In addition, the lights themselves may be required in a more shady area. The extension cable enables the floodlight to be located in the shade and the solar panel in full sun where it will charge effectively with no obstructions.

Furthermore, there is no hardwiring involved – simple yet effective!
