This professional and robust in-ground PIR bollard light has a Lighthouse style head and a graphite black finish. This Professional ‘In-Ground’ Root Mount System is for areas needing good security. Replacing the standard tubular body and mounting base, the root mount bollards have longer bodies. At least 400mm secures / concretes in place without losing any height above ground. A strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when set into concrete, whilst an optional secure cable outlet allows easy wiring after the bollard is fixed in place.

Available in two heights: 800mm or 1000mm – a height suitable for every application such as driveways, paths and sectioned areas. There are also 3 styles of head to choose from: ‘domed’, ‘pillar’ or ‘flat’ top.

The in-built PIR motion sensor

This bollard light has an adjustable in-built motion sensor. The bollard will remain off, until movement is detected. This means there is no need to remember to switch the fitting on

and off manually, resulting in less product maintenance. Fitted with an E27 LED bulb holder, this PIR bollard light is an ideal and effective way to reduce energy bills yet adding security. Adjust the in-built PIR sensor to your specific requirements:

The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are heavy duty die-cast aluminium. All screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.

The Lighthouse bollard has a clear, high quality UV stop PC diffuser surrounding the centre section of the head. This enables an even all-round light dispersal and furthermore adds protection to the bulb installed. Further protection is given by internal silver aluminium louvres. These add character to the bollard and importantly, act as anti-glare shields.

Distance between illuminated bollards – how far?

The distance between bollards varies depending on the bulb’s light output. Also the type of area, and how much light you require. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project, based on our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:
