These root mount bollards are extended in length so that at least 400mm can be securely concreted in place without losing any height above ground. A strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when set into concrete, whilst an optional secure cable outlet allows easy wiring after the bollard is fixed in place.

These vandal resistant root mount bollard lights have stylish double ‘Parabolic Reflector’ heads. The high quality diffuser is tough, clear UV stop polycarbonate. The louvres and diffuser enable even, downwards light dispersal around the bollard. They also add protection to the bulb. The light effect is one of a low-level glowing post, marking the way.
This Professional ‘In-Ground’ Root Mount System is for areas needing extra security. Replacing the standard tubular body and mounting base, the root mount bollards have longer bodies. At least 400mm secures / concretes in place without losing any height above ground. A strong mounting bar inside the tubular body acts as an anchor when set into concrete, whilst an optional secure cable outlet allows easy wiring after the bollard is fixed in place.
Graphite black finish is available with a choice of height (600mm, 800mm or 1000mm). Ideal for driveways and paths, there are also 3 styles of head to choose from: ‘domed’, ‘pillar’ or ‘flat’ top.
The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are heavy duty die-cast aluminium. All screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.
Distance between illuminated bollards – how far?
The distance between bollards varies depending on the bulb’s light output. Also the type of area, and how much light you require. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project, based on our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:

PLEASE NOTE:
The Parabola Bollard head reflector emits a decent lower-level spread of light, ideal for use as a glowing ‘marker’ for access routes and amenity. For areas where a stronger and wider illumination is required, try either of these two options:
