Parabola PIR Security Bollard Light – Surface Mounted
The Parabola is a robust PIR security bollard light. It has double ‘Parabolic Reflector’ heads and clear, quality UV stop PC diffusers. The louvers and diffuser enable an even, downwards light dispersal around the bollard. They also add protection to the bulb. The light effect is one of a low-level glowing post, marking the way.
There are two heights available (800mm or 1000mm) in a graphite black finish. Ideal for driveways and paths, there are also 3 styles of head: ‘domed’, ‘pillar’ or ‘flat’ top.
The head and 2.5mm thick extruded aluminium cylinder of the bollard are created from heavy duty die-cast aluminium. All screws are stainless steel, resulting in a completely rustproof and non-corrosive model.
Installed into the PIR security bollard is a smart looking motion sensor. This is fully adjustable, so the detection range, light control and time settings can be set to your required setting. No need to remember to switch the fitting on and off manually, as the bollard will automatically illuminate when motion is detected during the night. The E27 / ES bulb holder accommodates almost any LED bulb. Using LEDs is a very effective way to reduce energy bills.
Distance between illuminated bollards – how far?
The distance between bollards varies depending on the bulb’s light output. Also the type of area, and how much light you require. Below are some guidelines to determine how many bollards may be required for your project, based on our recommended bulbs providing a constant light between each fitting:
