These 12v wooden bollards are sustainably sourced, using Radiata Pine Timber. This specific timber is known for its lower split properties and no feathering. These 12v wooden bollards go through outstanding treatment. As a result, during pressure treatment the entire timber is penetrated by the latest generation wood preservative. Tanalith E preservative treatment is used in accordance with BS8417 to meet Use Class 4. Sourced and CNC machined by a top FSC certified timber supplier, this Radiata pine is suitable for most climates, whether the environment is hot or wet. They are fully sanded creating a smooth, top quality finish.Â
The Radiata is designed so that 300mm – 400mm of the wooden bollard can be securely mounted in-ground. The light is emitted from a solid brass slatted style fitting in a stylish rustic bronze finish. REQUIRED: 1 x G4 LED Bulb.

The brass light requires 1 x G4 LED Bulb (purchased separately). The expected life of the Radiata is up to 15 years with a 5 year Guarantee as standard.
As a natural material, it is common for cracking in the wood to appear. Usually this has no effect on the strength of the post and varies based on the moisture content of the wood. The preservative treatment helps to increase the moisture level, therefore reducing cracking. The best time of year for external installs of wooden posts is between October and March. This is because the sun is less intense, reducing the risk of rapid drying. Not recommended to install in waterlogged areas as this will have a negative effect on the wood.

Lumena’s Versa plug & play system is compatible with a number of brands such as Techmar. Cables are available in various length in various combinations of plug & play and open end. In addition, 3 way and 6 way connectors make it very simple for connecting components and fittings to just one transformer.
12v lightings requires a transformer in order for these to be powered. A transformer converts 240v mains down to 12v low voltage. We stock various wattage transformers (10w, 20w, 50w and 100w). Calculate which size transformer is required for a circuit following this simple formula:
Lamp Wattage x Lamp Quantity = Total Wattage Required (minimum)
Example: 5W MR16 x 3 fittings = 15WÂ Â (20W transformer required)
You must never exceed the wattage of a transformer, and avoid underloading. The ideal capacity is 75-90% load.
12v Lighting Set-up Example
