The Swanage’s beauty and charm is a result of all components, including the dome nuts, being natural copper. The exception is the clear glass lens. Natural Copper oxidises to create a darker effect that blends in with outdoor surroundings. Later, a verdigris effect may be present.
If a prestine, shiny Copper finish is prefered, oxidisation can be prevented by coating the copper with a clear lacquer such as Simoniz clear lacquer spray (available from Lumena Lights). The decorative, curved neck angles the down light at 45 degrees, supporting a slightly curved shade and a threaded glass diffuser which is 2.5mm thick.

Swanage – Copper Wall Lights
The Swanage Copper Wall Lights have beauty and charm as well as natural durability. This is a result of all components, including the dome nuts, being Natural Copper. As soon as the lights are outdoors, Natural Copper oxidises and weathers to create a darkening effect. This looks naturally decorative and blends in well with outdoor surroundings. Later, a verdigris effect may be present but that takes a longer time generally.
Under the copper Shade is a screw-in glass diffuser that enables a downwards 360 degree emission of light. We recommend the use of an LED Candle bulb (sold separately).
