‘PACAMAN’ SLEEPER WOODEN PATH LIGHTS ARE HERE

Lumena’s passion for innovation and high-quality, evolves further in 2020. The New PACAMAN solid pine sleeper path light is a fine example of this. Reliable landscape lighting that looks fantastic and is built to last. Available now, the PACAMAN is the latest bespoke wooden path light combining an angled pine sleeper with a durable LED spotlight. Lumena listened to feedback and requirements, and have been pro-active in sourcing this more exclusive path light.

Exclusive to Lumena, all ‘Radiata’ path light designs use light fittings incorporated into specially machined orifices in timber sleepers or posts. This combination creates elegant, sustainable wooden path lights. This exceptional wooden path light is not available everywhere. Existing models include a heavy-duty rectangular sleeper light and round timber post lights. These both continue to be hugely popular path lighting solutions.

These beautifully rustic wooden path lights are Radiata Pine, a South African solid timber. In comparison to low quality timbers, radiata is known for reduced splitting and feathering. It is naturally durable and long lasting. Lights are fully sanded so have a smooth, top quality finish. They’re also pressure treated with Tanalith E preservative in accordance with BS8417 (Use Class 4). The expected life of the Radiata pine path lights is up to 15 years with a 5 year Guarantee – install with confidence!

BRAND NEW – The Pacaman wooden path light has a super-stylish angled cut out.

The light we incorporate into the wood is an anodised aluminium MR16 LED spotlight in cocoa finish. The position of the spot light within the cut-out ensures illumination is similar to that of a ‘spread light’. All of the light shines in a downwards, 45° angle with an even spread with no glare or light pollution so is an ideal choice for paths or driveways.

Available in 240v GU10 and 12v MR16, the spotlights house replaceable LED lamps

This gives the customer an endless choice of wattage / brightness and also colour temperatures such as warm white and daylight white. In the unlikely event that the LED eventually fails, replace easily with a new LED lamp, so no need to uproot the radiata sleeper. The 12v option is the most heavy duty low voltage path light we know of! It is equally as bright as the mains alternative dependent on the lamp you use.

Designed to mount 0.4m to 0.5m in-ground similar to a fence post, the total height of the sleeper is 1300mm high, with 0.8m to 0.9m visible above ground. A hardwood strip conceals the cable at the back of the bollard. The fitting then connects externally at the base with a waterproof junction box.
